Day #6- Your favorite animal



I decided to follow ichiban_victory example and pick a Disney animal that doesn't talk, so we have Toby from the Great Mouse Detective.

Toby is an adorable dog and it amuses me in the movie that he's actually Sherlock Holmes's dog and Basil just borrows him for his cases. (Watson does actually own a dog in the original books.) He's a very typical dog. Gets excited, growls at strangers and just wants to play.

I think one of the cutest moments with him is how he instantly bonds with Olivia. Basil kept bragging about how Toby will only listen to him, but then turns around and finds him happily getting a belly rub from Olivia. With that said, his interaction with Basil is cute to watch as well.
