School and the Gummis

I've been very busy with school lately, but that's probably the price with being a fourth year. I am enjoying my Viking class a lot too. We're learning about the Norse gods next week, finally I can put my Loki Ragnarok knowledge to good use! Another good thing about the class is that I get to take it with bloodangel452

Now I have posted some art, and dqbunny is partly to blame. Some time when I was wondering when Disney would release the "Gummi Bears" on to DVD, I thought of drawing Gummi Bears versions of the Slayers. I ended up putting the idea aside, but a few days ago I was chatting with DQBunny and I told about the idea and she said I should do it!

So here it is!




And of course, if Zel was a Gummit Bear, Amelia would have to hug him!

I've never heard of the gummi bears. Maybe it's due to my french and somewhat tv-less childhood (I think I watched 2 or 3 cartoons tops, until those series were finished, and then I picked an other. Most of them had musketeers in them, Like "Anime Sanyushi" that I used to watch under it's french translation...So I watched anime as a kid! Gah, no wonder...)

But I still like those drawings.

Gummi Bears was a Disney tv series back in the early 90's, it was during Disney era of good cartoon series like Tale Spin, Darkwing Duck, etc. Tt surprise me that you never heard of it, they made toys and a whole bunch of other stuff from it . The series was also tranlasted in other several otherlanguages like Dutch and German. You would think they would translated it into French?

Hehehe, that was exactly the image I had in my head when I mentioned I could see Amelia hugging a Zel Gummi! Nice job on these!
