New Things For Me

eastofthemoonI finally got two books that I had ordered online.
First off is a Slayers Artbook that I got for a real good price on ebay. It's the one that has all the novel illustrations (including Luke and Millina). I saw it as![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-userinfo.gif)
secondlina place and I've been dying to get my hands on it. *hugs copy*
I also got a new book called "The Steampunk Bible." It's basically explains the history of steampunk all the aspects related to it. It even mentions comics and novels in the genre, Girl Genius being one of them. There's also brief bios on Jules Verne and Edgar Allen Poe and what role they played into it. It's really interesting.
It also gives tips for Steampunk costumes which is going to be useful for me when I make mine.
Also, in other news it looks like the Tales of the Abyss that's being released on the 3D DS is also going to be released in North America too. *grins* I already own the game on the PS2 so I'll probably wait until there are more games out before I get one, but at least this gives this great game more exposure.
