The Phase of My Life
Oct. 11th, 2011 01:45 pmA few years ago, Mom told me that I would be entering a phase of my life when it seems everyone I know is either getting married or having kids. I know I'm in the phase now, because I found out that my cousin from my mom's side is pregnant with her first child. She was also the first one among my cousins to get married too, so we've been expecting this for awhile.
Still, everyone is pretty excited since this will be the first grand child in my mom's side of the family. (My grandmother is look forward to being a great grandmother apparently. XD) I just learned how to crochet and once I'm done the blanket I'm making for myself, I'm thinking about trying to make a baby blanket for her as a gift.
Update on the wedding plans, we've booked the plane tickets for the honeymoon in the Disney. We're going to book the hotel reservation later this month, but the travel agent Stu and I talked to said we didn't have to worry about buying tickets or meal plans just yet. She suggested we might want to wait and see if there would be any special deals around that time anyway.
Also,
secondlina was awesome and finished the design for my wedding invitations. You can see them HERE
dqbunny has kindly offered to design and type the information on the invitations for me. Hopefully, I'll be able to sit down and decide what should say on the cards this week. (Sorry for the wait Megs! ^_^; ) My ultimate goal is to have the invites sent out by November.
All in all, wedding plans are going smoothly.
