School Starts

First of all, I want to wish ichiban_victory a big HAPPY BIRTHDAY!! ^_~ I hope you have a great one. (hugs)

I go back to school tomorrow. I think this term will be a bit more fun than last term. I'm taking a poetry writing class, although I haven't written poetry since grade 6, so I'm wondering what kind of poems my werid brain will produce. ^_^;

However, this month I am determind to finish at least the rough draft of two of unfinished Slayers fan fics I've been working on, like "Wild Hearts".

I did make an attempt to draw Lloyd during the holidays. I'm really happy with how the colouring came out. I tried a different method of colouring my pencil crayons and it seems to work really well for me.

Pretty neat colouring job! I always sucked at shading properly with pencil crayons.

Back to school tomorrow too, bleh. At least my only Monday class is German.

I've had the same problem with pencil crayons. However, I found this tutorial (http://www.deviantart.com/deviation/35583548/?qo=5&q=by%3Alukiih&qh=sort%3Atime+-in%3Ascraps) to be a big help.

I've been using the graphics tablet I got last year, though I'm still working on getting used to it. It's a very different feel to be looking at the cursor on the screen instead of at the tip of the pencil.

I'm at Palma Costa and currently chasing after the fake Chosen group to get back the book they took. So, I still have a ways to go.
