Cinderella and Halloween

eastofthemoon Is it wrong that I've always associated Cinderella with Halloween?
I mean there are some subtle connections in the story that make you think of it.
Cinderella uses a pumpkin, a spirit aka 'Fairy Godmother' comes to her aid, spell ends at midnight, and she goes to a party all dressed up to the point that the prince doesn't recognize her.
Kind of surprise more Cinderella versions don't take place during Halloween honestly.
