Avatar self protrait meme

There's been this meme going around the Avatar community. The challenge was to draw a self protrait of yourself if you existed in the Avatar universe. I couldn't resist, so I both myself and gullwhacker as benders. Just so you're warned, it's a VERY rough sketch. At some point, I should clean it up and ink it.

It was a hard pick for me, I wasn't sure if I would be more of a water bender or fire bender, but I think a water bender suites me more, both in element and in fighting style. Gull and I both agree that if he were in the Avatar universe, he would be an earth bender. If anyone else wants to give this meme a try feel free.

Together you shall make..er...mud! Seriously though, I need to see more of the series. Why must I have to save my money for school? Someday I'll know more about the benders, but from what I've seen they're all pretty cool.

(Rough sketches are fun anyway. It lets me see into your thoughts as you draw. Spooky, isn't it?)

The series is so worth watching. (and just so you know, a I've recently discovered a place where you can watch the episodes online until you can afford them: http://www.freewebs.com/toonsurfer/ It has all of the episodes so far. ^_~) I think you would especially get a kick out of Toph, a blind girl that gets introduced in the second season. One of the best characters ever created.

Well...drat! I'll have to save that link. I can see the site just fine, but the video links are all blocked for 'porn'. *grumble* Oh well, maybe I'll do something productive...like slack off and make more movies... ^_^;

Nice! I think I would love a meme like this, except I know barely anything about Avatar. ^^;

I suppose I could always just modify it to Abyss or Slayers, though. XD

I see no reason why you couldn't, I think you should. ^_~ Now, I'm tempted to draw myself in Slayers or TotA style. (evil grin)
