After seeing dqbunny nostalgia hit it reminded me of the one I had recently.

Behold, "Today's Special" A show that I LOVED as a kid. In fact, one of my nicknames my parents gave me as a kid was "Muffy" because I loved Muffy (the talking mouse) in the show so much. ^_^;

This is a Canadian show, but I do know that it also aired in the US for a time

And finally, my favorite song in the show. I can still remember the lyrics. I just wish I could find the full version of it.

What's really funny though, is that my mom remembers this guy playing Gilbert from when she saw "Anne of Green Gables" the musical years ago. XD

Oh wow, I know we used to watch this, but it was so long ago I couldn't remember anything other than the fact that there was a mannequin who came to life. XD

When I was a kid, I would get up early to watch Today's Special, the polka dot door and sesame street. The perfect morning for a kid. XD

He he! I was wondering how many people would remember this. It's too bad they don't have too many shows like this anymore (so much better than some of the shows today like Sponge Bob). If I had kids, I would love to show them this.

Me too! The songs had very catchy tunes, especially the opening and "Hocus Pocus Alimagocus" *sings along to the songs*
