I have never liked character bashing, and thinking on this I have one question:

Why does character bashing exist? I mean, what's the point in it! No matter how many times a person writes "I wish..... would die!" that character is not going to disappear anytime soon. Now, I know that everyone will not love or even like every single character that appears in an anime/movie/book etc... That would be impossible. I know that I don't like every single character, but that doesn't mean I have to go around and keep muttering how much I hate that character and make a top ten list about how to kill him/her.

It just wastes energy! And besides, these characters aren't even real! So seriously, what's the point? If I don't like a character, I just accept it and move on. I find it makes the story far more enjoyable than waiting and wishing for a piano to suddenly drop and fall on the character.

(sigh) Well, I feel better, I just needed to get that off my chest. I've been seeing a little too much character bashing lately.

Eh...if this is related to me wanting to smack Wolfram with a blunt object, sorry. ^^ It's just that at times...<.< Mind, the fire lion thing was cool, so he's not all bad. I don't plan on going 'GRR GRR DIE'. ^_^

Character bashing exists, because people have no other way to write things... kinda like flamers... all that they do to help anyone is to make a person's fireplace happy! (prints up a flame and a half and tosses it in a fireplace) Problem solved!
