Slayers Revolution episode 2 RAW

eastofthemoonOkay, I just finsihed the raw of episode 2.
It's only the 2nd episode, but I alreadly have high hopes.
First off all, I know this was only a minor bit, but it amuses me that Zel was appointed to be a bodyguard for Amelia. Although, Amelia is quite capable of taking care of herself and it won't be that big of a deal but I still think it's cute. I wonder if Phil is trying to play matchmaker? XD Mind you, I can't help but wonder if Zel is gettting paid for this. Maybe Phil agreed to pay his tea/coffee bill for the next year or something?
It is different from the manga, but I kind of like that. We get to see how both pairs would react to meeting Pocota for the first time. Zel and Amelia did take more of a back seat for this episode, but since the main stars are Lina and Gourry I think it makes sense. Besides, we'll get more action with them later on this season I would imagine. I am finding Pocota more likeable and I am curious as to what his motives are.
Also, I'm getting a big kick out of Weizer, however, I blame this mainly on the fact that he has the same voice actor as Gwendel from Kyou Kara Maou. Considering the fact that both characters work for the government of the country I can't help but keep picturing Gwendel trying to arrest Lina. XP
Also, it was probably a gag, but crying Gourry made me go "Aw". He is forever Lina's loyal protector. I do hope the guy can get a new sword soon so he can get more awesome moments.
Now, I just have to wait for the fansubs to actually understand what's going on. ^_^;
