Slayers Revolution 4th Episode

I loved this episode. The Z/A fan in me was quite content.

First of all, Lina I don't think Smoky the Bear would approve of your searching the forest method. But, of course, we have Amelia to stand in the bear's place. XD Amelia won so many points in this episode. She stood up to Lina to protect the animals, but also to Zelgadis when he was going overkill of trapping Pocota. I don't think we've seen Amelia standing up to Zel since Next. Also, she proves that she can easily take Zel down if need be. The girl has inherited her father's strength.

Then, the Amelia/Poctoa bonding was adorable. Those two make a great team and his crush on Amelia was cute. Now that I think about, I don't think anyone has gotten a crush on Amelia before. We've seen one for Gourry (well two if you count Volun) and I'm not sure if Miwan would count since he/she saw Zel more as a friend I think. For Lina there was that one noble man (he's name escapes me at the moment) who wanted to kiss her when he saw Lina in the wedding dress.

In that regard, it might just be me, but Zel, do I sense a hint of jealously of Pocota? He could have just been annoyed with Amelia and Pocota wasting time with Pocota instead of getting some answer, but I would like it to be the jealous theory. After the Miwan incident, I think it's Zel's turn to get a little jealous. Oh, there are probably a couple of plot bunny ideas I could play with this. XD

The next episode, we get more plot, Xellos and a look at some of the new villains. Should be interesting, especially to find out if Xellos is with or against the gang this season.

Ichiban may be right. As far I know (Pokota itself says so), that' isn't his real true form, so it suggests Pokota is under some spell, indeed. That makes things quite similar to Zel's situation. I guess we'll have to wait to the next episodie in order to find out what's it.

Slayers-crushes are a rare thing. Aras Rice, the rich boy who tried a fake wedding with Lina, seemed to have a cursh on her. Zel also seemed to be like that with Miwan... and well, basically all Martina's crushes history. Yet I dunno if Pokota has a thing for Amelia really or not. Zel seems to be quite annoyed anyway... but we'll have to wait the subs.

And yes, Ame is really strong. She could knock out Armiace and she can punchs Zel face (and he allows her to do it)but I hope Zel doesn't become into "Gourry-II"

The subbed version is now out, which did help some things make some more sense. It was already plain to see that Zelgadis was not acting nice at all, but to have Amelia telling him he's acting like a villain better explains her punching him (most effective way to get him to stop), and why he let her. Zelgadis is never going to be a saint, but there's got to be something in him that knows better, so having Amelia calling him out on misbehaving must help to stop him from getting carried away.

(I did have to laugh that Zelgadis thought Amelia was cruel for punching him in the face. Then again, it was obviously hard enough that he couldn't even stand, so it must have seemed too extreme for her to stop him like that.)

Ah, Amelia, Zelgadis. Two strange people. Stranger still sometimes that they do like each other, but I do think they both benefit from being around the other. ^_-;
