New Bone Series
Aug. 1st, 2010 01:54 pmWhen I was a kid I read previews of the Bone series in Disney Adventures magazine and remembering being very interested in it. It wasn't until a few years ago when they started to release the coloured versions that I read the story from the beginning to the end. Now, it's one of my favorite comic series.
Which is way when I went into chapters today I was beyond thrilled to find a new Bone graphic novel called Bone: Tall Tales which is about Smiley telling camp fire stories to some Boneville kids. Also, there was a preview for a new Bone novel trilogy with the involvement of Jeff Smith.
It has new characters, and some old Thorn, Grandma Ben and unfortunately no sign of Fone Bone or his cousins. However, I have high hopes for it. ^_^

Have you ever read the Rose prequel? It details what happened between Lucas, Grandma Ben, and Ben's sister back when they were young. It has a very different tone than the main series; but it's cool to actually see that story play out.
