For those who don't know, Boom Comics have been releasing a Muppet Fairy Tales series in which the muppets retells famous stories in their own muppet fashion.

They just finished doing Snow White, which was probably one of the best ones done so far. However, next month they're going to be doing Sherlock Holmes with Gonzo playing Sherlock. XD Is it wrong for me to think that's just perfect?

For those interested, you can see a preview of the comic HERE

Also, it's being drawn by Amy Mebberson the awesome artist that did the Thorn webcomic

With the muppet fairy tales, the Darkwing Duck comics and getting the paperback issue of Sky Doll, I've been becoming much more of a comic reader lately. ^_^

When I was a kid I read previews of the Bone series in Disney Adventures magazine and remembering being very interested in it. It wasn't until a few years ago when they started to release the coloured versions that I read the story from the beginning to the end. Now, it's one of my favorite comic series.

Which is way when I went into chapters today I was beyond thrilled to find a new Bone graphic novel called Bone: Tall Tales which is about Smiley telling camp fire stories to some Boneville kids. Also, there was a preview for a new Bone novel trilogy with the involvement of Jeff Smith.

It has new characters, and some old Thorn, Grandma Ben and unfortunately no sign of Fone Bone or his cousins. However, I have high hopes for it. ^_^

I'll admit that I've never really been into North American comics growing up, but now my interest in them is slowly growing. So far, I'm reading Bone, Gargoyles, W.I.T.C.H, and now I think I found a new series to add. The other day, I got a free preview comic of this new comic series starting in Stepember called "The Clockwork Girl."

This is the summary they had on their website for the series:
A nameless robot girl has recently been given the gift of life from her creator, while exploring the wonders of an ordinary world she meets an amazing mutant boy and they share a friendship that must overcome their warring families.

Here's their website: http://www.theclockworkgirl.com

I'm really fond of the art style this series has. It has a bit of a Disney feel to it and this might be because one of the creators, Kevin Hanna, works as an Art Director for Disney. Also, this story seems to take place during an era that has a 19th century feel. I've always love it when a story takes place during/or is similar to that time period. So, in other words, I think I'll be grabbing more issues as this starts to come out.

Also, I've felt like posting this clip from the anime "The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya"

This is the scene when Haruhi sings the song "God Knows..." and this may sound familiar because this was one of the songs I picked for my Z/A Fan Soundtrack a while back. I love this scene, not only for the song, but how well done the animation was for it.
